Therefore Energy Audits were carried out for all 9 Austrian cement plants as well as 3 milling plants. Additional an industry wide potential study for energy saving opportunities was carried out
Â
Description
Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:
Allplan prepared mass and energy balances for all 12 sites and analyzed all energy relevant processes (excluded the mills and the rotary furnace, which were analysed in a parallel project by the German VDZ). Measures like drying of input material, heat recovering systems, district heating, central cooling or electricity auto production were developed for the plants.
Finally the results of all sites were summarised in a study about the saving opportunities in the Austrian cement industry.Â
